To celebrate its brand new look, Marshall’s Londis Plus in Mullingar, Co Westmeath has launched a €10,000 summer holiday giveaway!

The store, owned by the Marshall family for 60 years until its purchase in 2009 by Owen Doyle officially opened its doors as a Londis PLUS store on Friday 31^st May and will now trade as Marshall’s Londis PLUS, Mullingar.

Speaking of the launch, Owen Doyle, owner of Marshall’s Londis Plus, Mullingar said “We have made significant enhancements to our offering as part of this process and are delighted to bring the Londis PLUS brand to our customers in Mullingar.  With Londis we will bring a vastly enhanced value offering, a vibrant product range and a very enjoyable shopping experience to our customers”.

The store, which employs 38 staff in total includes a recently upgraded hot and cold deli, including the Londis Fresh range of freshly prepared sandwiches, salads and ready meals.  Consumers will continue to enjoy the traditional butchery famed for its high quality meats, whilst a premium coffee offering “Plantation Coffee Company” will serve the perfect cup alongside the store’s premium range of freshly baked goods.  A wide selection of well-priced beers and wines completes the store’s broad offering and brings the best of range and value for money to the local Mullingar community. The store has also launched a loyalty scheme as an additional reward for shoppers and has invested €10,000 in an exciting Summer Holiday Giveaway.  Customers who sign up to the loyalty scheme and earn 200 points before July 12^th will be in with the chance of winning one of five holiday vouchers to the value of €2000!

The store held a launch event on Friday 31^st May with local radio station Midlands 103FM broadcasting live from the store. There was lots of family friendly fun including face painting, a bouncing castle, food sampling and prize giveaways including €1,000 of shopping vouchers won by lucky shoppers on the day!
